Member progress

Toastmasters provides numerous self-paced programs that allow members to progress as quickly or gradually as they wish. Members may choose to focus on their speaking skills or leadership skills (or both) and they complete projects leading to appropriate awards.

The member progress chart shows the progress made by each member of the club towards various Toastmaster awards. Progress is based on the number of speeches delivered or number of leadership projects completed (as defined in the manual).

Club progress

Every year, every Toastmasters club is rated on its performance as part of the Distinguished Club Program. A club's rating depends on the achievement of certain pre-defined goals. Clubs that have achieved at least 9 out of 10 clubs are awarded President's Distinguished club status. (see our Awards page for more information).
